Kierra Wilcox

Kierra was born in Lakeland, Florida and moved to the city of Atlanta at the age of 4. She attended Rainbow Elementary in Decatur, Georgia and matriculated through Columbia Middle and High School. While in Columbia High School, Kierra graduated from the High Achievers Magnet Program with a focus on business and selected as the highly coveted, Ms. MBA of the sector Academy.

Kierra has over 8 years of hands-on cosmetology experience; at the tender age of 12, she began pressing her own hair to her Mother’s chagrin and graduated to doing other’s hair styles while in the 9th grade.  Further honing her passion for cosmetology, she quickly became the “go to” person for trendy hair styles throughout her high school and her community.  Kierra’s best friend motivated her to pursue her innate and growing passion for cosmetology. Today, Kierra is embarking upon an apprenticeship under Master Stylists: Moe! and J’Ricka.

Kierra has a love for the Arts, Fashion, Culinary Experimentation and Cosmetology combined with a serious basketball game.  Kierra desires to become a Nationally Recognized and Accredited Stylist within her own salon; work with celebrities and super models while exploring borders beyond her own. In an effort to give back, Kierra plans to start an affinity organization that serves students in the arena of Arts, increasing their knowledge base and providing exposure to alternative professional paths. Kierra attended Georgia State University and Georgia Perimeter.
